1.1 Measuring Methods

Scetion 2 Acceptance Criteria in Cosmetic Aspects

 

2.0 Perform a VISUAL CHECK

 

Styles,colors,printings should stick to the order,confirmed by order file,drawing & samples

A -Frame should be clean,no marks or inclusions.

B -Frame color should match specification,no color fade,paint peeling or chipping.

(Apply tape test to make sure it does not come off easily)

C -Frame surface should be smooth,no pit marks,dots,scratches or scuffs,

D -No sharp edges.

E -Metal Frame should not have excess soldering or shading fluid.

F -Logo is in a proper place.It does not easily rub off.

G -Frame alignment should be good and symmetrical.

(When laid on a flat surface,both tips and bottom of the front have to touch the surface.Turn it upside down and repeat the same)

 H -Lens should be affixed properly,no gaps,loose or lens popping out.

(Left and Right lens color should be the same)

I -Frame markings should match specification.

 

2.1 Acceptance level for different parts

-It can be spearated into two different parts:”C”Critical part"M"-most important part "L"-less improtant part

Scetion 3 Acceptance Criteria for Lenses

 

3.0 Standard Sun Lenses Criteria (TAC/AC)

3.1 Physical Characteristics

A-Correct Lens material

B-Appropriate thickness at the center and edges

C-Base-curvature must be within ±0.25D wire frame and ±0.75D for plastic frame

D  -No  chips,flakes,scratches

E-No  Waves or other irregularities

F-FDA drop ball test pass on impact resistant,Lens testing Satified European Standard/EN iso 12312-1:2023,American National Standard/ANSI Z80.3-2018,AS/NZS standard AS/ZNS 1067.1.2016.

G-Optical performance test (prism degree, polarization degree, top focus of cylindrical mirror and spherical mirror

3.2 Catergory of Lenses

A-Category must be as specified within tech pack per sunglass,this should only be within Cat.2 and Cat.3 only.

3.3 Acceptance level for different lens zone

Zone A--a circle 35mm in diameter aound the optical center

Remark:

1)Zone A-accept only one defect on the same frame

2)Zone B-accept no more than two defects on the same frame

3)Slight colour variation in lenses only is acceptable between batches only within variance.

Section 4 Assembly Requirement

 

4.0    Sunglasses    assembly

4.01-Components,Logo,nosepad and Lenses fitting in frame properly and securely.

4.02-Adjust into symmetrical alignment per approved technical drawing.

4.03-Check gaps between the lug and temple.Gaps must not exceed 0.3mm

4.04-Hinge force should work properly without sticking 

4.05-Temples tightened so they don't "Hop"closed

4.05-The  gap  inside  temple-end   or  tip-end  should   not  exceed  2mm  and  should  not  easily  come  off

4.06-Tightness of  temples  must match together in the pair

4.07-Smooth Edge treatments,no sharp edge on frame

4.09-No extra materials attached/inside or on sunglasses

4.10-No fingerprints embeded or on the sunglasses

 

 

4.1 Common defects

4.2 Lenses Assembling

 

Framed style

-Check groove accuracy and depth

-Lens is installed in frame:

no gaps around the edges where light can be seen between lens &frame

no lens pop out while fully extended the hinge or twist temple right up and down(up to 1 inche vertically) no waves or stress cracking

Frameless style

-Drill  holes  perpendicular  without  chips,cracks,etc  (drawing  1s)

-Screw in proper length (no exceed 0.5mm)

-A poly washer should be installed in between lens and screw

-Mounting is secure,not too tight or loose

4.3 Metal studs assembling

-Stone/Metal studs should firmly glued or secured

-Drill hole in the same depth

-Apply tape test to make sure it does not come off easily

4.4  Drop  Testing

-Dropping 4 pairs,3 times each to make sure all components still intact

 

 

Section 5 Package Requirement

5.1 Carton

A-Mark&side mark check

B-Complete conditin of th carton check, no damage

5.2 Inner box

A-side mark check 

5.3 Custom package

A-Inspect packing as required by customers
